Forbici Modern Italian delivers a dining experience that is both memorable and delicious, particularly with its tortellini pasta and Cup & Char Square Pizza. The tortellini is so delicious with each bite revealing a perfect balance of tender pasta and rich, flavorful filling. The vodka sauce complements the dish beautifully, adding depth without overpowering the delicate flavors of the pasta. The Cup & Char Square Pizza was super yummy. It featured a perfectly crisp crust that holds up well under the generous toppings. The pepperoni curls into little cups with charred edges, offering a delightful crunch and flavor. The balance of cheese and sauce is spot-on, making every bite satisfying and full of flavor. The ambiance is chic and inviting, with stylish décor that complements the vibrant atmosphere. The service was exceptional. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. They strike the perfect balance between being helpful and unobtrusive, ensuring that your dining experience is smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Forbici excels not only in the quality of its dishes but also in its execution, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking an elevated Italian meal in Hyde Park. I would definitely go back to try lunch.

The Hyde Park area of Tampa. We loved it! Being from the northeast, my standards are high for Italian food! Walked in to live music and a lively ambience! I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was fun, casual but upscale! We sat at a booth....our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I love that this restaurant offers small portions on so many dishes! It allowed us to try more without over-ordering! Everything we got was delicious!!! We ordered the full order of bread....cause why not! Warm and flavorful with a mix of kinds! A pesto spread and olive oil! For an appetizer we got the small order of Calabrian wings - yum! Sweet honey flavor, so good! Between the 3 of us we had the Grouper, the Cacio de Peppe and the Bolognese! All were so good! The piccata on the fish was light and flavorful! With wilted spinach and cauliflower puree was a keto dieters dream! The 1/2 sizes of bolognese and cacio de peppe were perfect with all the apps we got! The Bolognese was yummy with not too much cream! But the cacio de peppe was the favorite of the table! Having the 1/2 sizes left us room for dessert! We got the sugar donuts! I was assuming they were mini donuts, but alas 2 full size sugar donuts with homemade whipped cream! We didn't have the pizza, so can't compare to northeast pizza....but everything we had was 5/5! Can't wait to come back!

I've been wanting to try this place for literally a year and finally got the chance today! You wonder why this place is always so busy? Besides the great service, It's the pizza! The pizza MAN! Ambiance is chic and very inviting as well.

Forbici happy hour is unmatched. Their drinks and food are delicious - my personal favorites are the margaritas, shishito peppers, and the pizzas. There is truly no better place to sit outside with the fans keeping a cool breeze going and chat with friends. Highly recommend!

I had the Mushroom Cavatelli with shrimp , It's was fabulous the seasoning and taste were explosive As appetizer we shared the calamari , If your a big eater order the full order serving , I ordered the small it was perfect serving for Me. The Service was excellent , Beautiful Location indoor and outdoor dining. As for Parking Space in front of the restaurant good luck , they have a parking garage down the street that's you best option if your unable too park in front.

I've been to Forbici twice now--once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times, the restaurant was packed but the servers were still quick and attentive. The interior of the restaurant is modern, but cozy, and they often have a live musician which adds a bit of fun. My favorite dish is the blackened shrimp bowl. The sweet corn polenta is incredible with the umami flavor of the shiitake mushrooms and the nice grilled char on the shrimp. I also appreciate that Forbici has half sizes to their pasta dishes. I've gotten the half size of the bolognese and the mushroom cavatelli. The bolognese was a delicious classic, but I really appreciated the unique flavors on the mushroom cavatelli. As always, I love anything mushroom so this was an instant hit. I will definitely be returning to Forbici for their brunch menu which has so many yummy options!

What a wonderful restaurant experience at Old Hyde Park! On the corner of the shopping district, this place does not disappoint! Everything tastes made in house and took no time to get (maybe 10 mins max for the four of us) Such wonderful staff --- they work very hard, and I never saw them in down time. But they were always smiling and helpful. It was a bit louder than I'm used to taking the kids, but that was the vibe. Live singer with guitar on Saturday and everyone was enjoying themselves. This will be a place to come back! Everything was delicious and for and for a sit down meal, an average price for Italian. Just keep in mind for parking as it's difficult for a Saturday night in the area, so give yourself plenty of time. But other than that, a WELL worth place to enjoy the company of others and have a nice meal! Great job, Forbici!

We visited for lunch and had a good experience with our meal, but our server could have been a bit more in tune! It was my first time here, and the food really impressed me. There's a free parking garage, so no need to worry about street parking. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar area. The food comes out quickly and is absolutely delicious. They also offer half portions for lunch, which is fantastic if you don't want to overeat or carry leftovers. I will definitely be coming back!

We tried Forbici recently while in Hyde Park. We really enjoyed our visit although it was only for drinks and appetizers. We just so happen to coincide with Yay@ Happy Hour! The service is friendly and fast. Happy Hour menu has plenty of food picks and tons of drink choices! The place is popular, you can tell! There was also live music. Really nice atmosphere! We ordered 3 of their appetizer choices: Calamari, Chicken Wings, and Margarita Flatbread. They were all amazingly tasty and great for sharing! We loved our new discovery in Hyde Park!
